Booking Policy

TAKE 15 LOUNGE BOOKING POLICY Every booking at Take 15 Lounge is secured with a non-refundable deposit. When you book, we prep materials, turn away other guests, and reserve the space just for you. These policies keep pricing fair for everyone. DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT No booking is confirmed until the deposit is paid and this policy is accepted. - Public DIY workshops ($65/person): Paid in full at booking. - Private craft parties: $150 flat deposit at booking. Balance due 72 hours before the event. - Space rentals ($75/hour, 2-hour minimum): 50% of the rental total at booking. Balance due 72 hours before the event. - Corporate and mobile workshops: 50% of the contract total at booking. Balance due the day of the event or per invoice terms. - Subscription plans: First month due at signup, then billed monthly. 3-month minimum. Deposits are non-refundable. Depending on timing (below), they may be applied once to a rescheduled date. The final guest count is locked 72 hours before the event, and you pay for that number even if fewer guests attend. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING All notice must be in writing (text, email, or DM) and is timed from when we receive it. Private parties, space rentals, and corporate events: - 14+ days' notice: Reschedule once with your deposit applied, or cancel and forfeit only the deposit. - 7 to 13 days' notice: Reschedule once within 60 days for a $25 fee, with your deposit applied. - 3 to 6 days' notice: Deposit forfeited. You may rebook at full price. - Less than 72 hours' notice or no-show: Full balance owed. Public workshops: - 14+ days' notice: Full credit toward a future workshop. - 7 to 13 days' notice: Credit toward a future workshop, minus $15. - 3 to 6 days' notice: No refund. You may transfer your seat to a friend. - Less than 72 hours' notice or no-show: No refund or credit. Each booking may be rescheduled one time. A second change is treated as a cancellation. Credits expire 90 days after they are issued and have no cash value. You may send a friend in your place for a public workshop at no charge. Just tell us their name before the session. LATE ARRIVALS AND NO-SHOWS Every session ends at its scheduled time, no matter when guests arrive. The space is often booked right after you. - Up to 15 minutes late: You get the full experience, though instruction will already be underway. - 16 to 30 minutes late: You may join with whatever time remains. There is no refund, credit, or extension for missed time. - More than 30 minutes late without contacting us: The booking is treated as a no-show and the full amount is kept. - Private parties and rentals: Your time starts at the booked start time, even if the host or guests arrive late. Staying past your end time is billed at $75 per started half hour, if the space is available. - Running late? Text us before your start time, and we'll do our best to hold your seat and supplies. GUEST COUNTS, EMERGENCIES, AND WEATHER - Adding guests: We can add guests up to 48 hours before the event if supplies and space allow (maximum 16 for space rentals). - Fewer guests: After the 72-hour lock, there are no refunds for guests who don't attend. - If we cancel: If Take 15 Lounge must cancel for weather, power loss, or illness, you choose a full refund or a free reschedule. - Severe weather: If a state of emergency or travel ban is declared for New Castle County, you may reschedule at no charge. - Personal emergencies: Exceptions are at the owner's discretion and are usually given as a credit, not a refund. - Chargebacks: Disputing a charge covered by this policy may end future booking privileges. AGREEMENT By paying a deposit or completing a booking, I confirm that I have read and agree to the Take 15 Lounge Booking Policy.
